「HOTALUNA」は、松本零士氏プロデュースの近未来的で斬新なフォルムのメガクルーザー 空間インテリアには、数々の建築受賞歴を誇る永山祐子氏が担当、屋上ルーフデッキから風を感じながら東京湾の景色が一望できます。夕方から夜になるにつれて、後方部の窓ガラスから淡い光が放たれ、その光がまるでホタルのように照らします。松本零士氏が名づけ親である船名のホタルナは、（月の女神/LUNA <ラテン語> ）「ホタル月」という、新たなる旅立ちとして思いが込められた船名です。

*Hotaluna* has been introduced, with a spaceship-like design, silver metallic sleek body ending with a gullwing. With the addition of a roof deck you can enjoy the scenery from both inside and outside the boat. From evening to night a pale light will be emitted from the back of the boat giving a *firefly effect*. The name *Hotaluna* was given by Leiji Matsumoto after the Latin goddess of the moon *luna* and *Hotalu* after the firefly. By giving the ship this name Mastsumoto hopes that many new voyage will begin.
